Dr. Ben Hume
Education
Dr. Hume graduated with a degree in Biochemistry from Minnesota State-Mankato in 2002 and went on to obtain his degree in Optometry at Illinois College of Optometry in 2006
About
Dr. Hume and his family of wife, Shelly, and their children, Whitley, Weston, and Wells moved here from Colorado to be closer to family so they?ve built a new home in Mound, a few blocks from Lake Minnetonka, and close to one of Dr. Hume's sisters and her family. The family is trading mountains for lakes and family! Life is a little chaotic right now so Shelly, who is an RN who specializes in interventional radiology and the ICU is taking a break from work to stay home with their 3 little ones.
Dr. Ryan Junidi
Education
I completed my Bachelor?s and MBA at the University of Illinois Chicago, and afterwards attended and graduated the Illinois College of Optometry.
About
I was born in Southern Illinois and moved to Chicago for school where I lived for 10 years.
My hobbies include hiking, trail/mountain biking, and bouldering. My favorite part of my job is taking time to educate my patients so they may feel comfortable and knowledgeable regarding their ocular health.
Dr. Abolade Oduyemi
Education
Dr. Oduyemi grew up out East in the New York/New Jersey area. He completed his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University and graduated from MCPHS in Boston, MA with his O.D.
About
Dr. Oduyemi has a genuine interest in helping patients have better life experiences through vision. He believes his empathy and patience are the two main reasons why his patients allow him the privilege to care for their eyes.
In his spare time, he enjoys travelling and exploring food from different cultures. He also loves music and is a fan of Jorja Smith.
Dr. Stacy Pirruccello
Education
Dr. Stacy Pirruccello grew up in Grand Rapids, MN and attended the University of North Dakota. She received her Doctor of Optometry from AZ College of Optometry in 2018.
About
She joined the Maple Grove Eye Doctors at Pearle Vision in 2021. She got her first pair of glasses in elementary school and remembers going to the eye doctor every year throughout her life. She enjoys caring for her patients and looks forward to seeing them every year.
Dr. Andrew Sweeter
Education
Dr. Sweeter was born in Sioux Falls, SD in 1997. He dreamed of being an auctioneer just like his father. He still talk really fast! Dr. Sweeter enjoys listening to music, golfing, and walking his dog.
About
Dr. Sweeter became an optometrist because he love talking with and taking care of people. He is passionate about providing optometric care to Spanish speaking communities, and attempting to break down language barriers that prevent people in these communities from accessing care.
Dr. Barrett Wingard
Education
Dr. Wingard graduated from Boston College in MA and obtained his Degree in Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry.
About
Dr. Barrett Wingard lives in downtown Minneapolis. He grew up in South Central Pennsylvania and has a young tortoise shell cat named Aurora. He loves cooking, playing music, exploring the outdoors and spending quality time with His friends and family.
He has just joined the team at Maple Grove Eye Doctors at Pearle Vision in June of 2022, bc he was really drawn to the environment of the clinic and the neighborhood as a whole.
