COVID-19 Statement

As COVID-19 continues to impact our neighbourhoods and the world, we want to keep you updated on the changes we are making in our EyeCare Centres to support our patients and eye care experts. The health and well-being of our associates and our neighbourhoods remains our top priority. We continue to monitor the ever-changing landscape we are facing, as well as the recommendations of government officials and local entities. We will provide you with the latest updates as they are available.

The health and safety of our patients and staff remains our top priority. To align with federal, state and local guidance, at this time we will be prioritizing “essential care” appointments. Essential care can include, but is not limited to, Trauma, Vision Loss, Pain, Redness or an exam required for eyewear due to a lost or broken pair. For routine annual exams, please revisit your appointment needs at a later date. If you have questions, please call our office to speak to an eye doctor.

If you have an eye exam scheduled at one of our neighbourhood EyeCare Centres, we ask that you notify our eye care experts prior to your scheduled appointment if:

1. You have traveled to a high-risk country or any other COVID-19 affected area in the last 14 days.

2. You have had close contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19.

3. You have a fever, any lower respiratory symptoms or symptoms of the flu. If this is the case, we recommend you contact your primary care physician.

If any of the above are applicable, we respectfully ask to reschedule your appointment for a later date.

Additionally, if you have a current prescription and are visiting us for your eyewear needs and any of the above are applicable, we ask you to take the additional precautions and delay your visit temporarily. We appreciate your cooperation in doing so and thank you for your understanding in this matter.
